Role Overview

We seek a dedicated and passionate Upper Primary Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that align with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. The teacher will play a key role in developing pupils’ academic abilities, critical thinking skills, and life skills. 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in accordance with CBC guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Integrate creative teaching methods and locally available resources to enhance learning.
• Foster a disciplined and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss students’ progress and well-being.
• Participate in school activities & co-curricular programs.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A devout Christian
• A P1 Certificate or a Diploma/Degree in Education from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of the CBC curriculum.
• Proficiency in integrating ICT in teaching and learning.
• TSC registration (TSC certificate or waiting slip).
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sufficient experience in teaching Kiswahili and/or Social Studies.
